1. "Miss Caroline stood stock still, then grabbed me by the collar and hauled me back to her desk. Jean Louis, iv'e had about enough of you this morning " she said ". You're starting off on the wrong foot every way, my dear. Hold out your hands" (Lee 21). This quotes shows injustice because Scout was explaining Cunningham's situation because he was too embarrassed to tell Ms. Caroline why he didn't have food and accept her money. Scout thought that she was doing the right thing by telling the teacher the situation and explaining it in detail so that she could understand, but she got punished for no reason so this shows injustice towards Scout.
2." Boo Radley. You were so busy looking at the fire you didn't know it when he put the blanket around you" (Lee 72). This quotes shows justice because even though Scout, Jem and Dill were always inventing rumors and thinking that he is a bad person but until this moment we can see how Boo Radley is a great person and will do anything for the kids.
3. " Report and be dammed to ye! Ain't no snot-nosed slut of a schoolteacher ever born c'n make me do nothing". This quote shows injustice towards the teacher because she was trying to protect her students from catching lice and she trying to be a nice person got insulted by a first grader and threatened only because the Ewell has a bad attitude towards the school and the teacher.
4." Catching Walter Cunningham in the schoolyard gave me some pleasure, but when I was rubbing his nose in the dirt Jem came by and told me to stop". This quote shows injustice because Walter didn't do anything bad to Scout and she still went and beat him up because supposedly it was his fault that she got in trouble. After that incident Walter went to Scout's house and eat there and talked with Atticus for a long time, which made the situation a little better.
5. " Your father's no better than the niggers and trash he works for!" This quotes shows how in just people are when it comes to black people. Atticus is defending Tom Robinson in court because he was accused of raping a woman, thanks to that people have been calling Jem and Scout bad things and insulting Atticus behind his back calling him a nigger lover.
